You Started Drinking Before 7pm, You're The Man...

Everyone loves a day drinking session every now and then. We all do, it's part of life. There's nothing better than sitting outside on a nice day with some cold drinks and relaxing. We can all agree on this one right? Okay, so here lies the problem. Day drinking is awesome, but when you try to brag about it, you sound like an idiot. FYI, you're not the man just because you started drinking when the sun was still out.

"We woke up at 7 o'clock this morning and started shotgunning beers!" Wow, thank you for letting me know that, now I can sleep tonight. If you wake up and start chugging beers at 7 in the morning, that's a bit of a problem. It doesn't actually make you the man for talking about it, especially when you have a long day and night ahead of you. Maybe you should have a bagel, possibly a nap to get ready for the night so you don't pass out by 2 in the afternoon. I'm not an expert, I'm just saying.

"Man, I can't believe I'm still out we started drinking at like 6 o'clock." First of all, it's 11:30 at night, it's not like you've been drinking for twelve hours straight, relax. Also, if you need to tell people that you've been drinking since 6pm, you're not that drunk and you just want to feel important. News flash, you're not important just because you began drinking during happy hour. You're cooler than the jackass who wakes up at 7 in the morning to shotgun beers, but you're now a moron for talking about it. You're also a lightweight because you're going home at 11:30.

Where I am going with this is that day drinking is awesome until you talk about it. Don't brag about drinking during the day. The people who brag about drinking during the day are the people who think that day drinking is something that's unheard of, when in reality, everyone does it. The loudest guy in the room is the weakest, and the guy talking about day drinking is the lightweight. The end.
