Alright fella's, we need to go over something that most of you do not understand. At work last night I was watching a first date. The great thing about working at a bar is the fact that I get to watch a shitload of first dates on slow nights like Monday and Tuesday. It is the typical first date type of place. Let's go get a drink or two and talk. But you need to remember guys, YOU can't be talking too much.
What am I talking about? I'm talking about you. The mistake that basically all guys make on the first date is that they talk about themselves the entire time. She doesn't wanna hear about you. You know what she wants to hear about? She wants to hear about her.
She wants to tell you about herself, then she wants you to ask her more questions about her, then when she asks about you she wants a one word answer and then she wants to go back to talking about her. She doesn't give a shit about you. She wants to hear about herself in a deeper voice, aka from you.
This means she doesn't care about how awesome your chicken cutlets are and she doesn't care about how much you value honesty. Why? Because then she knows she can tell you whatever you wanna hear and you'll believe it. Just keep it about her. Sure, if you get to know her a little more and get serious, then let her know about you. But for the time being, especially early on, she doesn't wanna hear about you. She just wants to hear about her.
