The Best Breakfast Meat

In the world of breakfast meats, who stands the tallest. Who tastes the best? Who can supplement eggs and cheese and bring a breakfast sandwich to a completely different level.

First thing we need to do is narrow this discussion down to two meats. I apologize to the other meats for getting looked over but when it comes to sausage and bacon you fall tragically short. Now I know ham has its benefits, it's healthy, you don't feel like a complete waste of life after eating it and it's rather good at dealing with its breakfast partners; Egg and Cheese. However, when it comes to taste, ham just doesn't cut it.

So we're left with sausage vs. bacon. And in this breakfast meat showdown you have to take some things into account; and that is the distinctive qualities that separate sausage and bacon.

Sausage is Wilt Chamberlain. Sausage is coming into breakfast sandwiches and breakfast plates knowing that is has an advantage over everything else. Sausage understands that it can dominate by itself and doesn't really need a supporting cast to help him win. Everyone on the team is happy to be associated with Sausage because they know Sausage can pretty much dominate anybody in the league and can take over when it counts. Sausage isn't as concerned with distributing the ball. It's pretty much a one on one game. Sausage is only going to pass the ball when he's double or even triple teamed. Even so, Sausage is the most dominant player in the league, by far. But, that doesn't mean championships and that doesn't mean it makes the BREAKFAST it's in that much better.

Bacon is Michael Jordan. Bacon has the ability, like Sausage, to take over games. It can put the team on its back and dominate. However, unlike Sausage, Bacon also has the ability to distribute and make his teammates better...that also has to do with Bacon's coach (that's another discussion for another time). So Bacon possesses the qualities that win championships. When Bacon wants to be overbearing and take control it can, however it also knows when to take a step back and allow his teammates to make some plays. At the end of the day, bacon is going to bring you a W and he's going to make sure his teammates get some props to...might even turn Eggs into a top 50 player of all time.

I want your opinions on this issue, what's better for breakfast? Bacon or Sausage?
