What Could Have Been...

Almost a perfect weekend. At about 450 yesterday, Sunday was turning into one of the best days in New York sports in a while. Minus the Mets getting pissed on by Philly (but who REALLY cares about the Mets anyway) New York sports were dominating opponents and Boston sports were collapsing. Pats took a brutal loss against the Bills, the Sox got beat by the Yankees in the first game of the DH and they had Lackey taking the mound in the nightstand. Giants had just beaten the Eagles and even though I don't like the Giants I hate Philly sports. The Jets were winning 14-7 and Tomlinson had just scored a TD. Things were looking great...

Then Antonio Cromartie took it upon himself to make this day turn into shit. FOUR pass interferences, are you fucking kidding me? I noticed something yesterday during the Jets game and here's what it is; any time there is a big play for a Jets opponent, Antonio Cromartie is somewhere in the mix. Whether it's a Mcfadden 70 yard run where Cromartie doesn't get near a tackle or a fucking fumble on a Kickoff that changes the outcome of a game...Antonio Cromartie will be there. The guy sucks.

So the Jets wind up losing and then the Yankees decide to give up a 3-0 lead and lose to the Sox in the 14th. I blame Cromartie for all of this. He gave up the bomb to Ellsbury. He did it. Trade Cromartie.

I couldn't even enjoy Boardwalk I was so pissed from the Jets game. He ruined Boardwalk also. Just ruined a good show.

P.S. Shottenheimer is a loser just like his dad.
