Forbes Tackles the Tricky Topic of Keeping Facebook from Announcing to All Your Friends That You Liked 2 Girls 1 Cup

http://www.forbes.com/sites/kashmirhill/2013/01/22/how-to-keep-facebook-from-promoting-2-girls-1-cup-to-your-family-and-friends-under-your-name/

Someone at Forbes is tackling the problem of how to keep everyone from knowing you liked reading about 2 girls 1 cup. When you like a page on Facebook, Facebook then takes that and promotes it to all your friends. They then put unrelated articles underneath what you have liked. So this guys friend liked a page and Facebook promoted an article of 2 girls 1 cup directly underneath what he had liked and he says it looked like he was promoting it. And your point? He probably did like and promote 2 girls 1 cup and now he's all mad that it showed up on Facebook. If you're gonna like weird shit, then Facebook should tell everyone about it. I think they should do it more often. You make your own bed through the Facebook world, now sleep it it.

Sidenote: You can change this by making your  "Likes" settings custom. It's as easy as a click of a button.
