The Game We Play

We all know about the game. It's a very strategic game that needs to be played carefully in order to always keep the other person guessing just so you either don't drive them away or if you're trying to make them want you more. It's not everyone's favorite game to play. but it's a must. We all need to play it to keep order in our conversations with members of the opposite sex. We call this game, the texting game.

So you meet someone and get their number, good for you. Now comes the hard part. Everyone knows that people don't call each other anymore, that's so 1990. What we do now is text each other. You can text anywhere, all day if you want to. You can text in class, at work, in the car (even though that's frowned upon) or anywhere else that seems necessary. With this being the socially acceptable way of speaking, you need to know how to play the game.

You want to text this girl. Usually the same rules as calling apply, the guy texts first. But you need to plan the text. You don't do it first thing the next day, but you don't wait three days. Usually, you can shoot the first text the next night at around the 8 o'clock mark. This has been enough time for her to wonder if you're ever gonna speak to her again. Once she gets that text she is not only relieved, but quite happy. Now everything else comes in to play.

Do you text every day? No. Do you wait for her to text you some days? Yes. If she doesn't, she's not interested she just likes the attention. Do you sometimes not answer her text back just to see what she does? Yes. It's all a fucking game that we play. Sexting is a totally different game that is only played while you're drunk but I have spoken about that one before. Moral of the story here is, you need to play the game in order to get laid. If you play it the right way, you can get laid on a consistent basis for awhile without actually having to fall into a relationship. Once you're in the relationship, these rules do not apply. I can prepare you for the game, I can't play the game for you.
