Sandy Alderson, I love you. Getting K-Rod off the payroll so that you don't have to give him $17.5 million for finishing 55 games this season was such a great idea. A greater idea was just getting K-Rod off the roster so I don't have to sit there and wonder why he was throwing 97 when he came up and now he barley sniffs 92. No more fastballs getting spiked in the dirt, no more cursing him out for getting paid so much and sucking, and no more of those dumb goggles that he wears. Okay, so he was having a decent year, he had 23 saves, but get real. More times than not while he was in a Mets uniform, he gave you a heart attack when he came into the game. I am not the least bit upset to see him go. Good riddens to bad rubbish, Se La Vi pal. See Ya!
