Let's be clear here, I have a tattoo and do not have anything against them. How many are too much? I have a personal rule with tattoos. First off, no color. Second, if you can't cover it with a tee shirt its not going on my body. Here is why. I am a guy, not a fucking peacock. Girls, color tattoos are hit or miss. Now here is why it needs to be covered with a tee shirt. If you have a real job the worst thing to have is visible tattoos. Its a bad impression and its a bad look, period.
Sleeves are ridiculous. Guys with sleeves tend to be juicebags and no smarter than a mattress. Girls with sleeves might as well have no teeth. A tattoo on a girl has to be subtle, I'm sorry. In a place where only your guy can see it or its little enough to conceal. A girl with a massive tattoo just loses her elegance.
Worst places for a guy to have a tattoo: Top of hand and above the collar of a shirt. Just go live in the projects and sell crack.
Now like the title of this article says, how much is too much? It's easy. If the slightest thought goes into your head that this might make people say "What the fuck was he/she thinking", that tattoo shouldn't be there or you have way too many.
Do yourself a favor, getting something that means something to you. Don't get a star or a key just because you "like" them. Flowers, really? Flowers? Praying hands with the rosary beads, about as original as Pathmark brand cereals.
Tattoos, I like them, but let's grow up here. Last thought, I think the age to get a tattoo should be 21. Even thought I got mine at 18, most people are immature still at 18.
