Jeter and Mays

I'm honestly not really sure how this story hasn't been posted. Relatively big deal in NYC for a blog that's based in NYC. I can't blame "Daddy" for not posting this though, he is a disgruntled life long Met fan and Derek Jeter's success probably eats away at him night after night.

Last night Jeter moved into the top 10 on the ALL TIME HITS LIST. I've heard people for years say that Jeter is overrated. Jeter isn't even the best shortstop on his team. Blah blah, frikin blah. Not only does he move to the top 10 All Time with last nights duck fart in center field, but he also has the most hits in the majors this season. He's absolutely selfless, clearly in pain, and is going to carry this team deep into the playoffs. Guy is a first ballot hall of famer and one of the best to ever play the game. It's honestly been a joy to watch the way this guy plays for my entire life and the game is going to miss him if he ever feels the need to retire. In addition to his first class baseball statistics is his first class resume. I think Timberlake, Leo, and Clooney are the only guys that can compete with Jeter off the field.
