College Football Week 3 Review

What a week it was in week 3 of college football. The biggest story of the weekend was easily at the time #21 Stanford pulling the upset over #2 USC. You know what you saw from this game? A couple of things. One is that USC's depth on the offensive line is not very good. Second, you saw Stanford be the more physical team and absolutely take it to the Trojans. This wasn't an accident, Stanford is a good football team. And you know what else? USC was probably a little overrated.

Next, Florida went into Knoxville and took over the game late in the second half to knock off Tennessee in an early SEC east battle. Is Florida back? Or is Tennessee the same old Vols who really aren't that good? Only time will tell when both face Georgia.

Alabama just straight up embarrassed Arkansas on the road in what was never a game at any point. That Arkansas team just flat out gave up at home in front of a packed house and got demolished. If I was their coach they would be doing nothing but running gassers all week. If you wanna quit, you deserve the punishment.

And finally, Notre Dame pulled the upset over #10 Michigan State. Don't make too much of this. The Big Ten is just proving once again that they're not that good and I'm pretty sure Notre Dame isn't that good either. I don't make much of this and I won't make much out of it if Notre Dame beats Michigan this weekend also. They're just not that good.

I also just want to know one thing before I wrap up, is Florida State the National Championship sleeper? I think yes. Why? Because if they beat Clemson this weekend, they don't play another decent team until Florida the last week of the regular season.

Notable Week 4 Games:

#22 Arizona at #3 Oregon

#10 Clemson at #4 Florida State

#15 Kansas State at #6 Oklahoma

#18 Michigan at #11 Notre Dame
