The most sought after free agent on this year's market, Josh Hamilton has signed a 5 year $125 million deal with the Los Angeles Angels. Everyone is going to look at the lineup that now has Albert Pujols, Josh Hamilton and Mike Trout to go along with Kendrys Morales and Mark Trumbo but I am going to look at the total other side of the coin. Yes, Hamilton when healthy is absolutely, positively the best player in baseball. But he is so addicted to everything out there that he is not even allowed to carry money with him. He needs a legit babysitter to be with him 24/7, and that was when he was in Cincinnati and Texas. Now you're gonna put this guy in LA making $25 million a year? Did the Angels front office smoke crack with him last night? What the fuck are they thinking? Look, I hope Hamilton does well because it's a great story. But you can't take a guy addicted to every drug on the planet and put him in a place like LA. This has bad news written all over it for me. If I'm an Angels fan I am scared shitless.
