After Chad Johnson got arrested for the whole shit with his wife, Dolphins coach Joe Philbin basically smiled and told himself, "Finally, I now have a valid reason to get rid of this fucking guy." If you watched last week's Hard Knocks, the writing was on the wall after Johnson's press conference and just listening to Philbin talk. He NEVER liked Johnson and he was never going to give Johnson the chance to prove him wrong. Because I'm wondering how much of this was an actual head butt to his wife or how much of it was just they were getting into with yelling at each other and he got too close and they just bumped heads. You know women, they over exaggerate everything. Plus this bitch is just always straight up looking for attention and she knew she had the TV cameras around for this one. But that didn't matter to Philbin this was his one and only chance he had to have a reason to let Johnson go. Why does your rookie QB need a veteran wideout to throw to? Why does your team need a guy who works hard and that everyone likes? You don't need that guy as a first year coach right? Especially not that the entire team doesn't have your back because you didn't have their teammate's back. Just come out and admit that you just don't like the guy. People would probably have more respect for you than they do now. You cut him before knowing the details of what happened. Trust me, if it was really a head butt I don't think she would've been able to run to her neighbors house and I'm pretty sure if he was that crazy he would've chased her over there. But this is about a coach who just flat out didn't like a guy and got his one chance to get rid of him, so he did. This wasn't because Johnson got arrested, this was because Philbin just didn't like the guy.
