Guys have this uncanny attraction to any woman who just happens to have a boyfriend. It has a lot to do with wanting what you can't have but it also has a lot to do with just the fact that this is now a challenge. We are a competitve species and when you tell a guy that he can't do something he is going to go to extraordinary levels to prove your ass wrong.
It's not that we want to flirt with her, she's just there and she's sending the signals that she wants to flirt as well. The conversation and interaction could be put to a screeching halt by her right away if she just sends different signals. But when she sends the signals that she's interested, it's a totally different ball game. Now the idea is planted in the back of her head that she just might do this if given the opportunity.
And that's what the appeal is to the guy who's chasing the girl with the boyfriend. It's the fact that he knows that she will let her guard down for a second just because of how good he is with talking to her. Then once he lets his guard down, he can make the move and she won't even flinch because a part of her actually wants it to happen.
That's what the appeal is about the girl with the boyfriend. It's that we all know that she would cheat if given the opportunity. I'm not saying that it's the right thing to do, but she will put herself in the wrong situation without realizing it and then fall into the trap. Once a guy knows he can get a girl to do that, he basically has her without her knowing it yet. Then when it happens, you can just say it was bound to happen.
