Rangers vs Devils: Tonight's Game Could Be The Series

Tonight is Game 5 of the Eastern Conference Finals and the Rangers and Devils hatred toward each other just really took off during Game 4. I mean why wouldn't it though? Let's be serious, the only reason the Rangers are even in this series right now is because of Henrik Lundqvist. If it wasn't for him the Rangers would've been sent packing on Saturday. Let's look at the evidence, the Devils have been the better team this entire series and that's not even debatable. Out hitting, out shooting and ultimately completely out playing the Rangers from the start. Are the Rangers asking too much out of Lundqvist to be the difference in every single game? And are the Rangers just too tired to at this point? They played two seven game series already, a couple of overtimes in each, are they just basically running on fumes right now? To win in the playoffs your best players need to be your best players and that hasn't happened for the Rangers. Gaborik has been non existent, Richards is on and off, they're resorting to their defensemen and a 21 year old rookie to score all their goals and not to mention they are getting beat to every loose puck. Maybe they're tired, but I don't wanna hear about tired. It's the playoffs, if you can't show up ready to play balls to the motha's wall, you shouldn't be playing in the NHL. Tonight's Game 5 could end up being the series. If the Rangers lose tonight and have to go back to New Jersey for an elimination game, this thing is over. In my eyes tonight's do or die for the Rangers, not so much for the Devils just because of how badly they've outplayed the Rangers this whole series. But this game could end up being the series tonight. If the Rangers decide to sleep walk through the game again they'll get their doors blown off. 8pm at the Garden, let's see what happens.
