Stephen Curry Was Kicking Ass and Taking Names in Denver Last Night

We all knew at the beginning of the postseason that the Nuggets vs Warriors series had the potential to be the most exciting series of them all. So far, through two games they haven't disappointed. But last night with David Lee done for the playoffs, Stephen Curry came out and took over a the basketball game.

Did anyone watch? Were you up late enough to see what was happening. Curry started slow and was only 2-7 from the field early in the second quarter. And then something crazy happened. He took over the game. At first it wasn't by making shots, it was by drawing the defense to him by driving and then finding open guys for shots.

Once he started doing that, it then opened himself up for shots. The rest of the way Curry went 11-16 from the floor finishing with 30 points and 13 assists. All of this while recording only one turnover. The Warriors had their backs against the wall and Curry decided he was not going to be denied.

With the series now 1-1 it will shift back to Golden State. The Warriors are going to have to continue to play small without Lee but if Harrison Barnes plays the way he did last night they shouldn't have any issues. With a guy like Curry and a coach like Mark Jackson, look out for Golden State. They might just be poised to pull off the first round upset.
