Let's paint out a scenario here. You're sitting on the couch with your girlfriend and you're telling her about this movie that just came on. She doesn't really wanna watch it but you're telling her how it's one of the greatest movies of all time. Let's say the movie is the Usual Suspects. Phenomenal movie, that you need to pay attention to, especially if you've never seen it before.
So you explain to her that it's an awesome movie but you have to really pay attention to it. And then she starts kissing you. Now you're flustered because as she's kissing you all you're thinking about is the movie and all the important parts she's gonna miss. Maybe she was getting ready to get freaky with you, maybe she just wanted to kiss you, but either way your mind is on watching this movie. Plus, you know that if you two do get a little freaky, once you start watching the movie again she's gonna ask you 20,000 questions on what's going on and what stuff is happening. Ladies, you all know it's true.
Then is it more fucked up that as you're thinking about that, you're also thinking about how great of a blog topic this would be? You're sitting there the entire time never thinking about her kissing you and possibly trying to get all hot and bothered, you're just thinking about this movie, the situation, and making it a blog. You're like Mark Teixiera in the playoffs, your mind is somewhere else. Or like the Mets during the regular season.
Finally, is it more fucked up that you actually stop her from kissing you and tell her this for the sole purpose that you wanted to watch the movie? I mean it's a great movie. But is it messed up to turn down your girlfriend for watching a movie that you've already seen? I mean you haven't seen it in awhile, but you've still seen it. When your mind is somewhere else, is it that fucked up? Or is it just an over reaction? I have no idea. You tell me. I'm just throwing it out there.
