As if we needed any more proof that the BCS computers are an absolutely absurd flawed system there is a computer that ranked Notre Dame number one, ahead of Alabama, even though Alabama absolutely shellacked them on national television by the score of 42-14. The computer claims that Notre Dame had a better strength of schedule meanwhile Alabama won more games against Top 25 ranked teams. Why is Notre Dame still number one in this ranking? Because the computers don't account margin of victory into ANYTHING! How do you have a system that doesn't account for margin of victory? HOW?! This is just more proof that the BCS is a flawed system and four teams isn't going to make it any better. There needs to be a committee that picks the best 16 teams in the country and they need to have a legit playoff. Give the bowl games to the other shit teams who don't make the playoff and have them play during the week while the playoffs are played on the weekends. That's how it should be done. Because the fact that Notre Dame is ranked ahead of Alabama after losing 42-14 is a travesty. It just shows how flawed the system really is.
