The next college conference move came this morning when Notre Dame announced that they will be moving to the ACC in all sports except football, but will play 5 football games a year against ACC opponents. What is going on here? I'm confused as shit trying to figure this out. It's the Atlantic Coast Conference. The conferences were all geographically just fine until the Big East started going across the entire country, the SEC went into Missouri and the Big XII just got totally dismantled. Notre Dame is dead in the middle of the country, they're not on the atlantic coast. This doesn't make sense to me in a ton of ways and not just that it's geographically retarded. And football wants to stay independent but they're still playing 5 games against ACC teams. That's half the fucking schedule, are you kidding me? Just move into the conference completely. It would be great fot Notre Dame to finally be involved in a conference. But instead, it's just football doing its own thing, and everyone else abiding by the rules. Notre Dame football is like the coach's son. They think they're better than they actually are, and they don't have to abide by the rules of everyone else. The conference system as we know it is officially over.
