Well you already know what the outcome was. In one of the most bizarre Super Bowls I have ever seen the Ravens came out on top 34-31, big brother beat little brother and Ray Lewis goes out on top. But what really won the game last night? It's simple, veteran leadership. The 49ers flinched and the Ravens did not. Colin Kaepernick came out missing receivers and making some erratic throws including an interception. LaMichael James fumbled in the first half and the 49ers had way more penalties than the Ravens did. And finally, when the young Niners looked like they were about to make an epic Super Bowl comeback, the veteran defense of the Ravens buckled down with a goal line stand. Don't complain about the non holding call on Crabtree, the refs let them play. You can't make that call at that point in the game. The refs are going to let you play, it's your job as a receiver to know the blitz is coming and get off the line better. Colin Kaepernick made a really bad throw also that gave Crabtree almost no chance to make a play. The game was won on veteran leadership. The stage was too big for the young Niners but guess what? They'll learn from it and be a force to be reckoned with for a very long time. As for MVP Flacco, he's still not elite in my book but he is a Super Bowl MVP who had a great playoff run.
Sidenote: And if your argument for not wanting the Ravens to win is that Ray Lewis got away with murder all I have to say to you is you're an idiot. Randy Moss is the biggest scumbag on the planet so if you're going to make an argument one way, do your research the other way as well. Jackass.
