If Miguel Cabrera Doesn't Win The MVP All These Baseball Writers Should Lose Their Voting Rights

I really can't stand all this talk about how Miguel Cabrera probably won't win the MVP this year even thought he's won the triple crown. All these fucking geeks who never played baseball want to talk about stats like WAR (wins above replacement) being factored into the voting. Let me tell you something, when a guy has just done something that hasn't been done in 45 years, he deserves the MVP.

A triple crown is more rare than throwing a perfect game, hitting for the cycle and basically anything else in baseball. Also, we want to talk about Wins Above Replacement, do we realize this is all based on what if? It's based off of what if this guy wasn't in the lineup every day. This stat means nothing when a guy IS IN THE LINEUP EVERY DAY. Cabrera played 161 out of 162 games this season. 

I'm not saying Trout isn't great, but he's not the MVP. Cabrera carried the Tigers into the playoffs with an absolutely red hot September. Trout's team is going to be scheduling tee times this Saturday. And Mr. MVP Trout only hit .287 since August 1st, that's not an MVP stat line. Also, all these sabermetric assholes say scoring runs is more valuable than driving them in. That's the dumbest thing I've ever heard. Why? Because how do you score the runs? Someone has to drive you in. Cabrera drove in way more runs than Trout and everyone else in baseball.

According to all these other statistics that have nothing to do with home runs, batting average and RBI's Ben Zobrist should have two MVP's and Nick Markakis was the best player in baseball last year. Give me a break. You wanna talk who's more valuable to their team? It's Cabrera. He switched positions to allow them to bring in Prince Fielder and played in 161 out of 162 games. All of this while winning the triple crown and carrying his team to a division title. In my eyes this is no contest. And if Trout wins the MVP, all these writers should lose their vote.
