The Typical Yankee Fan Post of the Day...

Let me preface this by saying the "typical" Yankee fan is the fan who barely watches all year and then comes out of the woodwork in the playoffs. It's not the fan who actually knows what they're talking about. Which is why I love facebook so much, because the woodwork people are the best people to make fun of. So here is out Typical Yankee Fan Post of the Day...

It was a comment on a status that went exactly like this...
"Arod, grandy, swish and cano better wake the fuck up. Or...Bench Em all. Chavez for Arod, GARDNER for grandy, ibanez for swish, and nix for cano..."

Notice the emphasis on the Gardner. Shows exactly how much he knows since anyone who's been following the Yankees knows that Gardner can't physically swing a bat still. Asshole. Now on to the rest of this idiotic statement. I would love to see Girardi go explain to his boss that he just benched 90 million dollars because they haven't hit in four games. He would be unemployed tomorrow. Nix for Cano? Why because he got two hits last night? Yeah let's put our clean up hitter on the bench in a game that decides whether you go home or move on. You got some serious balls kid. Chavez for Arod because Chavez hit a line drive last night. Awesome. You forget the thing about players on their decline (Arod) who used to be great. They still have the potential to do something great ONE time. And right now that's all you need. As far as Granderson goes I just wanna see him foul tip a pitch before we get too crazy.

It's fans like this who should be revoked from talking sports. As my boy Mike has pointed out, the Yankees batting average with runners in scoring position is lower than the fucking unemployment rate. Swish, Arod, Cano and Grandy are 7 for 65 in the series, they're hitting .108. That's fucking atrocious. But guess what? You still don't bench them. You know why? Not only because it's stupid, it's because you win and lose with your best. Which is what this asshole doesn't understand. Tonight they could possibly score ten runs. But let's just start with a base hit and take it from there.
