New York Sports Fans Are the Most Delusional Fans in the World

I have come to the conclusion that I absolutely hate all New York sports fans. I'm a New York sports fan but I feel like only some New York sports fans have any logic on anything whatsoever or what I like to call "perspective". After the last two nights in New York sports, I need to take all you people down a couple of notches.

I'm not talking about the Knicks and Carmel Anthony because I've already made my point about him and the team. If you choose to think I am wrong that's up to you. However, my advice is to talk to me when your team and its superstar make it out of the first round of the playoffs. Until that happens, don't argue with me about the Knicks.

Moving on, let's start with Rangers fans. They're fresh off of a 6-1 win over the Penguins last night. I guess Rangers fans forgot the the best player in hockey, Sidney Crosby, didn't play. Is it a good win? Sure. But you did it against a team who didn't have their best player. Therefore, take it for what it's worth and don't start talking about how you hope you see them in the playoffs and that you can't wait for their fans excuse of they didn't have Crosby. When you don't have the best player in the league, it's an excuse that can be used. Worry about holding on to the 8 seed so that you actually get to the postseason before you start talking.

Next up, Mets fans. I am a Mets fan but if you really think the team is going to be good this year because they've gotten off to a 2-0 start against the Padres then you need to stop drinking whatever kool-aide you're drinking. They're young, they're going in the right direction and they have a couple of good young pitchers. I'm not impressed with beating the San Diego fucking Padres who are playing without last years NL RBI leader the first series of the season. When you see an ENTIRE SEASON of competitive baseball from the Mets, then you can get excited.

Obviously we know about Jets fans who should just give up and Giants fans who don't realize that the team doesn't actually win the Super Bowl every year. Yankee fans are about to show their true front runner tendencies when the team finishes in last place this year and Islander fans don't really exists. I'm a New York sports fan, but most fans of New York sports teams know extremely little about actual sports.
