Good idea, buying property and becoming a landlord and renting out a house for extra money. Bad idea, putting an ad on Craigslist to rent out a house that you're claiming is yours but it's actually foreclosed. Just another day in Florida. The house next door to this woman got foreclosed on years ago. She claims she filed all the right paperwork to now own the house and rent it to people but the courts have no such paperwork. She's collected about $13,500 in the last eight months renting it out and was finally arrested this week for grand theft and being a scam artist. Gotta love Florida, just people doing ridiculous things because they feel like it. Another great start to another great week.
