You can always tell the true test of giving a fuck versus not giving a fuck when it comes to an ex, an old friend, or any other person who you used to be close with in some type of way and now you don't speak to anymore. What is the main predictor/determining factor of giving a fuck? The answer to that my friends is eye contact.
Let's say you're a girl who goes out and you see that ex of yours who you haven't seen in god knows how long and haven't spoken to in even longer. He doesn't even look anywhere near you and he barely knows that you're even there. You on the other hand can't take your eyes off him and are trying for one thing and one thing only; and that's eye contact.
Why? Because as much as you claim to not give a fuck, you know that you do. Whenever you look to make eye contact, it means you give a fuck. You can really tell when a person just doesn't give a shit about you. They don't look at you, they don't look for you, and they act like you never existed. When you go around looking for eye contact and a conversation, it means you care way too much still.
After any amount of time, eye contact means that you give a fuck. There's no reason to go running around pretending like you don't care when everyone knows that you do. If you don't care, then don't look for eye contact. But if you do care, you'll be looking for eye contact all day. I'll let you decide, but eye contact definitely means you give a fuck.
