It Gets Better

You know those videos celebrities were making for kids who were getting bullied in school? The ones saying that life gets better? Maybe you don't, maybe you do, the point is the videos were meant to encourage kids to be themselves and not worry about being bullied cause "it gets better."

So, the point of this post is for new Jets fans. I just wanted to let you guys know "It DOESN'T get better." For all of you fair-weather, bandwagon fans who just started liking the team within the last two years or who just started liking the team after Hard Knocks last year; these last two debaucheries of football games resemble the Jets that I grew to love during my childhood. The equivalent of being a New Yorker and liking the Mets, the Jets will disappoint you time and time again, they will build you up only to crush you. So the point of this post is to tell you "new" Jets fans that if you can't deal with the way this team has made you feel the last two weeks, then you need to get out while you still can.

I know the jets will prevail this season. I know the team is too good to not win games; but I also know these last two weeks have been about as bad as it gets. Sanchez is not even close to living up to his expectations, Nick Mangold has clearly solidified himself as one of the MVP's of the team, and I still HATE Marty Shottenheimer.

P.S. Being a Packers fan has got to be the best thing in the world
