This Week In Sports

MLB Game Of The Week:

Friday 7:10pm Rays at Red Sox
The Rays have cut the wild card lead to three. This will be the second game of a four game set that could decide the AL wild card. Shields goes for Tampa and Boston hasn't announced a starter yet. I'm not a fan of either team, but being a Mets fan, I have to try and watch some exciting baseball in September. Let's go Rays!

College Football:
Two big games this weekend, the first one comes Thursday night with #3 LSU vs #25 Mississippi State. Mississippi State is coming off a loss to Auburn and now looks to rebound against LSU. Thursday night at 8 on ESPN, give it a look, it should be a great SEC game.

The other big match up takes place Saturday night at 8 with #1 Oklahoma going to #5 Florida State. You can't win the national championship this early in the season, but you could sure as hell lose it. It'll be a rowdy crowd in Tallahassee, Oklahoma better watch out.

NFL:
There are three awesome games up for this weekend. The first one takes place Sunday at 1 with Chicago going to New Orleans. The Saints are trying to rebound from the loss to Green Bay, and Chicago is trying to keep the momentum after an impressive win over Atlanta.

At 4:15 on Sunday, San Diego goes into New England. All I really have to say is good luck stopping Brady and this offense. Miami is not a bad defense by any means, and Brady made them look like a division two college football team.

Sunday night game 8:20. Michael Vick goes back to Atlanta for the first time as the Eagles take on the Falcons. The Falcons don't want to start 0-2, but they looked all sorts of awful against Chicago last week. As for Philly, they just have too many weapons, I think they'll win this one.
