Alright, I'll Admit the Knicks are Good, But...

Fine, you all win. I am at the point where I will admit that the Knicks are actually a good basketball team. However, like usual, there is always a but. Everyone is excited about the fact that they've beaten the Heat by a combined total of 40 points, but if the way they've beaten them doesn't scare you then you have to be just a little bit delusional.

What am I talking about? The Knicks have murdered the Heat this year via the three point shot. In their first meeting at MSG the Knicks hit 19 three pointers and then last night in Miami they added another 18. I know the Knicks are a good three point shooting team but you can't expect to live by the three for the entire season. No team ever has, no team ever will.

Am I saying that the Knicks aren't a good basketball team? Absolutely not, and when Amare and Shumpert get back they'll be one of the deepest teams in the league. But I am saying that they are going to have to eventually win games in some way that doesn't involve making it rain from three point range. There are nights the threes won't fall and when that happens what do you do? I don't know, it's a wait and see I guess. They are good, but when you live by the three you also die by the three. Let's see what happens.
