The Relationship Spending Breakdown...

How do you know a guy really cares about a girl? When he doesn't mind spending the money on her. In his eyes it's all money well spent. So for those of you who are on the fringe of a relationship, but you're not sure how much you actually like the chick, here's the percentages of how much more you spend in a relationship and then you can decide if it's gonna be money well spent or not.

Simple Breakfast Isn't So Simple: Amount More Spent 50%-80% 
You two go to the diner for a simple breakfast and it'll probably be between $25 and $35 dollars including the tip. You're probably gonna eat like an animal and then you have to pay for your ridiculous man meal and hers as well. If you were at the diner with one of your friends you would probably spend anywhere from $12 to $15, which is about half that. But knowing you and your lazy friends, one of you would suggest a deli and just grab the bacon, egg and cheese on a bagel for a cool $3.50 plus a drink so $4.75 all together. That's an increase you're gonna have to deal with.

Double Up On The Lunch: Amount More Spent About 50% 
Lunch will always be light when you're dating someone. It's just to spend some time together and have a nice meal. Normally lunch would run you anywhere between $8 and $12 by yourself. With your girlfriend it'll be between $20 and $25 with the tip. It's actually the best bang for you're gonna get for your buck.

Dinner And Drinks: Amount More Spent 100% 
Dinner and drinks is the big one. You better bring out the bank for this one fella's. The more you go out for dinner and drinks the more you notice that it's always the drinks that kill you. Here's what you do. You're gonna spend most of the money on her anyway so you drink water and order the cheapest thing to eat on the menu. Then you just let her get whatever she wants. It's not about you so don't be a cheap bastard on her, be the cheap bastard on yourself. You have to think about these things. Obviously there's no price range I can give you on this because it's always different. Just be ready to bring your piggy bank.

Other Expenses: Amount More Spend 65% 
This is just the other stuff that you're going to spend because you're doing more things when you're with someone. But things like gas, movie theatres, quick dessert trips and things of that nature actually do add up. Make sure you're being smart with your money.

It's all money well spent if you really care about that person. But if you're on the verge of getting into a relationship just make sure it's going to be money well spent. I know it is for me, but for others I don't think I can say the same when I have to hear you bitch about it every other day. Be a man, treat her like a lady if you really give a shit and spend it on her. Why? Because eventually you're gonna have to spend it on some woman, so you might as well just treat them all that way.
