Could R.A. Dickey Really Be The Best Pitcher In Baseball?

I will gladly admit that I was the first one to talk shit about this guy when the Mets signed him and I'm still incredibly hesitant to actually say that he's actually good, but right now is it possible that R.A. Dickey is the best pitcher in baseball? I mean look at the stats here, the dude is 11-1 with an ERA that is exactly 2.00. The opposition is hitting .194 against him and he's struck out 103 in 99 innings pitched. And his WHIP is 0.89. Is there anyone else in the league that has stats like this? He has more strikeouts than Stephen Strasburg and just as many as Justin Verlander. Can someone explain to me what the fuck is going on here? He's 37 years old so it's not like he's young and just coming into the league, he's been a journeyman his whole career and I don't think there's anyone out there who can actually explain this. So although I'm not gonna jump on the bandwagon and say that he's good, I will just say that RIGHT NOW at this moment he is the best pitcher in baseball and definitely deserves to start the All Star game. But I'm not hopping on board yet. Because you never know, once that knuckler goes flat it could very well be a laser show.
