Rangers and Capitals Game 5 tonight at the Garden is the do or die game. I know the Rangers bounced back from a 3-2 deficit against Ottawa, but this has a different feel to it. This game 5 is do or die. If you keep playing with fire eventually you're gonna get burnt. The Rangers are playing with fire, they had the chance to basically knock Washington completely out of this series in game 4 and they let them up off the deck. They gave the Capitals a reason to believe that they belong on the ice with them, and now it's a series. You don't wanna go back to Washington down 3-2. Ovechkin might've had a shitty year by his standards, but that guy is still one of the scariest goal scorers in the game regardless of what anyone says. Also, Washington has been the Rangers kryptonite in the playoffs for a number of years now. It's time to either break that trend or stick with it. And tonight is going to decide that. It's do or die game 5, they better bring the energy tonight or they're gonna get the sticks shoved right up their ass. It's time to play like the number one seed in the east. And it starts tonight.
