Is Melo Actually The Knicks Problem?

Before all of you jump down my throat just hear me out on this. Is Carmelo Anthony really the Knicks problem? Let's look at the facts here, when he was out they were winning games. And then the fact that everyone had to ask the question of whether or not they would still win games when he returned should tell you something. If you have to ask your girlfriend if she's gonna cheat on you when she goes on vacation, there's a problem. It's the same concept.

"But clearly Amare is the problem." Guess what? Nobody is taking on that gigantic contract that Amare has, which means you're stuck with him. Sorry, but that's the way it is. Don't tell me the Knicks don't have talent around Melo. Take J.R. Smith, Steve Novak, Tyson Chandler, Jeremy Lin and Amare and then replace Melo with Lebron. That team is favored to win the east. GUARANTEED. Okay, so let's not say we replace him with Lebron, let's replace him with a D Wade or a Durant or a Kobe, that team if not still favored to win the east, is at the minimum a co favorite to win the east.

Look at the facts here, Melo has never made the guys around him better. Look at Denver right now, with basically the old Knicks team. They're the 6 seed in a better conference. And to add to it Melo's only been out of the first round once in his career. What you're just gonna hope Melo cares more about the team than scoring eventually? That day is never going to come, he's never going to win a title. Trade him while you still can and your team will be better off. Enough about Amare, Melo's the Knicks problem.
