Is Josh Hamilton Human?

Has anyone been paying attention to Josh Hamilton? Other than ESPN, I really haven't heard much about him from anywhere else. No blogs talking about him, no websites, nothing crazy other than ESPN. How is there not being more attention paid to this guy. Let's look at his week. He hit .467 with nine home runs, two doubles and 18 RBI's. Does anyone realize how ridiculous that is? Albert Pujols season consists of a .197 average with one home run and 12 RBI's. That's his season. Hamilton's week was better than one of the best players in baseball's entire season so far. And it's not like we had no idea Hamilton could do this. He's won an MVP and a batting title already and we already know about how awesome he can be if he just stays healthy. Will he keep this up since no one's gonna want to pitch to him? Yes, for two reasons one is because the Rangers line up is so good that they are basically forced to pitch to him. Their nine hitter is gonna end up with 20-25 home runs, there's not another team in the league that can say that. Also, he'll keep this up because his hands are so quick that it's very hard for a guy like that to go into a slump. He can wait longer than anyone to recognize a pitch and decide if he wants to swing or not. He can also get beat on pitches and still get hits. He has everything working for him now all he has to do is stay healthy. Is he human? Maybe, but with the numbers he's putting up he'll make us have our doubts.

Sidenote: I would be giving this guy his money, I know the risk, but I would pay him, you might not get a talent like this in your organization ever again.
