Pujols To The Angels

Albert Pujols has signed with the Los Angeles Angels for ten years between $250 and $260 million. Are you kidding me? Besides the fact that these baseball contracts are getting more ridiculous by the year, to give this guy ten years is absurd. Don't get me wrong, the guy is great right now but long term contracts never work out the entire time, ever. Plus he's 31 and now you're married to him for the back end of his career when he's not gonna be worth what you're paying him. Not that I think anyone is worth this kind of money to begin with. What happened to Prince Fielder? I would rather give him ten years because he's only 27 and he'll be in his prime for about six out of those ten years. Pujols will be in his prime for about two more years and then the decline comes unless he's on some of those horse steroids. Have fun being married to this guy LA, the back end of that deal is gonna be a kick in the balls.
