Jose Reyes is set to sign a 6 year $111 million deal with the Miami Marlins. So that's it Mets fans, Reyes is gone. Don't get your panties all in a bunch though, I'm happy he's gone. The guy is a cancer, he doesn't hit in September and he's always hurt. Yeah, he's a lightning rod, who gives a shit when the guy is always in the training room rubbing his hamstring. The Marlins are giving this asshole $111 mill a year to play probably somewhere in the range between 100 and 120 games a year. Too bad the season is 162 games. Don't get upset, I'm not just being biased because I hate the fucking guy. I've hated him ever since the first collapse when he went like 1 for 110 in September. I'm not losing sleep over Jose Reyes not being our short stop, and you shouldn't either.
Sidenote: On a lighter note the over under for wins this year for the Mets is set at 55. What do you got?
