What Exactly Are Capris?

I feel like this question needs to be addressed because of the confusion that this article of clothing gives everyone. The question of, what exactly are capris? Does anyone actually know? Are they long shorts? Are they short pants? What the hell are they?

I honestly have no idea what they are and I don't even think they look good. If you're a girl wearing these things, why do you wear them? They don't look good. If you're going to wear something long in the summer, just wear the jeans. No one wants to see mid calf, we either want to see your whole leg in short shorts, or we want to see a whole set of jeans that look painted on.

Now guys, stop it. Don't even think about wearing them. I really don't have anything to say other than you really shouldn't be wearing these if you have a set of stones between your legs. I'm not going to go into much detail, but you can probably figure out why.

So does anyone actually know what these so called capris are? We do not have a verdict on this matter. Therefore, capris should be outlawed until a verdict is reached. When someone figures out what these things actually are, then women should only be allowed to wear them. Guys should be banned from wearing capris forever, no exceptions. End of story.
