Hot Girl Bracket Day 2 Recap: Swanepoel Prevails in OT, Alba Squeaks By

Finishing out the first round of the Hot Girl Bracket, a couple of top seeds snuck out with wins. In Other Region action, Candice Swanepoel escaped overtime against 15 seed Elin Nordegren with a 158-154 victory. Swanepoel will now take on Kourtney Kardashian who was an easy winner over Vanessa Hudgens. Nicole Scherzinger took home an easy victory as well and will take on Natalie Kelly in round two.

As for the White Region all of the higher seeds prevailed rather easily. Alessandra Ambrosio, Megan Fox and Marzia Prince were all easy winners. The slight upset came with 8 seed Kaley Cuoco losing to 9 seed Angelina Jolie by a 115-111 final.

Black Region action was basically the same as the White Region with Christina Milian, Beyonce and Rhianna all advancing. However, number 10 seed Ciara pulls the upset over Keri Hilson, pulling away late for the 126-100 victory. Ciara will face Rhianna in round two on Saturday,

Finally, in the Hispanic Region number 1 seed Jessica Alba basically hit a buzzer beater with a 114-112 victory over porn star and 16 seed Esperanza Gomez. Dania Ramirez pulled the slight upset over the 8 seed Ines Sainz and will take on Alba in round two. Eva Mendes turned it on late to beat Penelope Cruz 135-91 and Emmanuelle Chiriqui beat up on Rosario Dawson 156-70.
